At Soltex we manufacture all types awnings at all different sizes and uses. We are specialists in the use of awnings in Lanzarote's unique climate. Howling winds and harsh sun are the norm on the island so you can be guaranteed that with our experience you will not be let down. Fixed Arm Awnings

These awnings can offer shade protection to the extreme. As a fixed arm awning can be wound flush to the wall completely sealing off the window to act as an external blind. This is extremely useful in cases where the sun might be a problem in the early morning when the sun is very low or late in the afternoon.

Fixed arm awnings can also double up as wind breaks, but this is subject to a site survey of your location.

Retractable Awnings

This is our most popular product which gives great shelter from sun or rain. This awning can be closed when not needed and opened to any distance to the maximum reach of the arm size you chose.
It can be mounted on your walls or your aluminium/wooden pergola.

When the awning is closed it is hidden behind the skirt of the awning and adds colour to a wall or terrace.

The maximum shaded area for one awning is 5 metres by 3 meters (15 square metres).

Fixed Awnings

These awnings are fixed in one position and cannot be moved and are normally mounted above windows. They can also be designed for a unique space. They are great protection against the sun and rain. They can also greatly increase the attractiveness of your building.
